Don't worry Kiwi.
I learnt a long time ago about jumping off moving trains.

When I was a kid we had the old steam trains with wooden carriages where you had to lean out of the door, with the glass panel down, which would crush your bloody fingers when it dropped if you weren't careful, and us kids, who thought we were cool, would jump off the train before it was stopped and run along the platform beside the carriage.

As I got more and more "cool" at doing this, I would jump off at faster and faster speeds until one day I went flat on my face. This created a lot of entertainment for all the other passengers of course.

For revenge towards the train for causing this to happen to me, I would often drop rocks down it's bloody funnel as it went under the pedestrian bridge over the line at the end of the station.

"but dammmm this is a slow train ride"
My point is don't try to jump off the train before it is stopped at it's destination.
