Distribution OXX's CUE share's and OIP is just a tidy up so that OXX can use up the credits etc, before they are lost.

The stuff in OXX's announcement regarding 'what if there is a takeover offer for CUE' is just about protecting OXX/Geoff if someone were to come in over the top and spoil the party. Gives OXX/Geoff an out.

Lots of synergy and history between OXX and CUE. CUE's got a 'new broom'. My guess is that Todd's new guys are possibly behind this. Lots of history here. OXX's assets are not appreciated or valued.
OXX's portfolio of assets compliments CUE's perfectly right down to them rubbing shoulders in NZ.
