You can rest assured that the big pharmas will know about it.

I once worked for a European airline (a long time ago). Every day there was a delivery from a firm of all press and articles about themselves, the opposition and air travel related stuff. It was quite a lot of info.

These days it will be electronic, but each major pharma will have somebody who is sifting all the time.

And of course gsk, Merck and Genentech (Roche) all have some kind of contact.

It's nice for big pharma to wait for phase 2 results, but then that is offset by the fact that if you wait all of the others (competition) will see those results too. So often in the cutting edge/game changing area deals are done earlier.

No safety issues is a game changer alone, but it is a small group though.

Interesting times ahead imho. I'm guessing a deal within three months.
