My feeling is the company maybe felt compelled to say something pronto given the share price slide (especially yesterday) as I could foresee a Please Explain being issued by ASX before long. Presumably what was reported today, as short and sweet as it was, should or could have been released earlier if the imec progress regarding having fabricated a functional wafer was already known. Of course it might all be coincidental that 4DS were notified of this important fact before market opening today after yesterdays drop and which has obviously provided some solid support to the share price today.
