Government subsidies turn an ugly hole in the ground into a lake. Rehabilitation done.
Cheap renewable energy pumps the water up to the storage pond when the winds blowing and the suns shining and the lights are turned off.
When the sun sets and the wind drops and the lights come on HGO turns on the tap to generate peak load power and a recurring income stream.
Every mans dream.
