Thanks for your comments, Ash and Barkston. I ended up rolling over my calls into June, so still a holder, but with limited upside.
shortman.com.au tells me that on April 20 there were short positions of 8.9%, if I'm reading it correctly. On balance, I think this is bullish. Clearly there has been an element of short-covering in the recent rise, and it should prevent significant downside in the medium term. Having said that, I recall the old saying: "sell in May and go away."
The great thing going for Iluka is solid management.
