Well there is hostile and there is CAJ/IDX hostile. When IDX said they would spend 6.5 million defending it makes me wonder why we keep pushing forward. How much is this costing us, success of failure.
I can only think of two reasons why we keep pursuing such a large take over, an I got a meatball caught in my throat and choked kind of takeover.
A/ we all settle for a friendly merge.
B/ when we release our results it really knocks our socks off. They pay a magnificent dividend and the share price races to 40 cents plus making the 6.9 shares in the offer look so sweet they cannot refuse.
Anyway enough dreaming ANZ share investing is saying interim report on the Feb 27. They are often wrong though.
