I'm hoping we withdraw as well. IDX are prepared to spend up to$6.5 million in defense and our transaction costs for the takeover (including I-rad & RT acquisitions) is $9.9 million. All could have been avoided with a merger.
As for upping the bid, I think they might have plans for increasing the cash component of the offer. If you look at section 7.2 of the bidders statement (Funding of the offer). We currently have $85 million in cash , both the I-rad & RT acquisitions have been funded from our NAB loan/overdraft facility. All guess work on my part.
