when I listened to IDX’s Roundtable after their results were announced, I certainly got the impression the CEO was more focused on wanting to keep running the company rather than looking at the big picture. Boards are often quite blinkered and more interested in their own egos. On the other hand maybe they are right to be cautious. Certainly not boring anymore, although we will have stretches of having nothing happen - 14 to 28 days before the bidders statement goes out, then 15 days for the target statement. Certainly don’t want to be impatient . We will have CAJs half year to liven things up....
