Not sure what everyones expectations were but I think under the circumstances this is a great result and further affirms the approach taken by management. There is nothing to be disappointed about.

I think in the past few years there have been calls for dividend payouts and other general criticisms, however, I wonder how many people would have got on this forum if the cash in the bank was substantially lower and started to bag the management due to the fact that the company had paid out dividends. I can hear the
magniloquence now.

The one often forgotten word for this is pure and simple - sustainability - and good managers and businesses will sail right through hard times.

Management decisions in the past have ensured that DLS will come out of this oil price crisis stronger, leaner and meaner and ready for the eventual pickup in oil prices.
