Agree, but the data does not support that. HUO is going backward, whereas TGR is holding the line
For FY 15 (full year) HUO Salmon price was, on average, $11.59/kg - this half just gone was $10.66 - a drop of 8%
For FY 15 (full year) TGR Salmon price was, on average, $13.13/kg - this half just gone was $13.08 - a drop of 0.5%
HUO has not been able to demonstrate that they have the ability to manage their sale prices. In fact they have taken business decisions that have effectively destroyed value by decreasing the $/kg sale price in the last half. Now, I agree, that if they can turn these numbers around in H2, that would be great - but IMO, you would want to see the evidence before investing more money. Hoping that it will happen could be a bad investing mistake.
I am just presenting an alternate point of view.
