If that notice posted here is actually the last notice filed then as I said in my previous post their shareholding has actually fallen by 1.79% and they are required to make a disclosure under Australian law. If they fail to lodge this disclosure then their only defence would be either that the number of shares quoted in yesterday's announcement is wrong and doesn't properly relfect their relevant interest in AVZ or they are unaware of a reportable change in their relevant interest.

Once they become "aware" under section 671B of the corporations law, they are obliged by law to make the appropriate disclosures.

I'll get back to you once Huayou has had time to lodge a notice under the law and/or become "aware" that they need to lodge the notice and/or after I've sifted through all the ASX shareholder disclosure announcements and then I can properly address 8horse's question?Esh

Why should anyone take your advice on a legal matter?

A proper channel would be to contact AVZ.
