AVZ are watching their register like a hawk because the resource is massive, highly desirable and the business world is greedy wanting things for nothing acting stealthily if they perceive a target is asleep at the register.
They have every right to know who is on their register and inform the shareholder community of changes early if those changes have to publically notified.
In letting us know straight away they are protecting ours and their interest and I welcome it. There are ASX laws and regulation surrounding acquisition and changes to large stakeholder holdings (Thank Goodness) and I for one welcome the early signal to all that AVZ management (whilst small) are on the ball in this respect and have signalled their intention to keep us all immediately appraised of any changes.
We all should watch very closely and publicise findings widely. Lets guard this like the tools in our shed.
