Hi NI, another poster did ask a similar question, which garnered the following:

"It really depends on the company and what they find.

If there's good visuals, they might release upon completion of the first hole.

If they're not expecting visuals/no visuals, they'll probably wait until half the holes are complete and the first half are sent off for assay. Some companies are nice enough to give an update every two weeks to tell you that the rig hasn't broken - which I like, but some people bitch about due to the lack of substance.

If they hit massive sulphides they'll probably call a TH to allow them to release the visuals in a more relaxed manner.

Earliest announcement would probably be next Tuesday."
