It all depends on how BIG .
They will do it themselves, if anything is BIG enough.
At the moment, there is a lot of smallish oxide deposits across the whole region, that is what HOR is eyeballing.
SFR has the plant for the sulphides.
WGX for the gold.
Shady, run your rough numbers on the size of the oxide zone at Wodger, they are pretty good as far as I can see. If you look at what MF has done with Davyhurst (excluding all the noise), I think you may get an idea of a bigger picture.
Even though AUR are targeting the VMS sulphides the fallback is the oxides which HOR is after and only makes the $20 million plant upgrade at Horseshoe Lights more attractive.
Have a look at what NST are doing with POS, this type of arrangement is going to becoming more common.
The capital cost of building plant these days is making what was once good deposits marginal.
