My very quick read of the annoucement and brief look into SGH analysis leads me to believe it was a very cheap way of generating some excitement about the Croydon property? Take 300 soil samples, hand scraped to 35cm then get them analysed. Generate buzz when it shows things - even though you already know it is likely there are metals etc there (from previous drilling).

But then you get to release an annoucement about 'drilling' without having to actually do any.
