03boz, you remind me of me from the MCO days. Visiting the mine, talking with management and believing the dreams and aspirations of the crew. It took me a fair while to realise that what was said and what the realities were, well they were poles apart. Actually it was what was NOT said that mattered. The disclaimer that goes with ASX releases means it can be absolute BS!
Oh yes there were determined, they worked hard, many of them were very experienced and had exemplary reputations like Peter Hepburn-Brown and Mott Ryan amongst others.
Alas all the determination in the world cant guarantee success, I was lucky and bailed when the MD was buying $25 mil of shares but many lost more than just money.
The reason I am here, other than a fascination with the district, is to bring some balance to the OTT statements of the resident, historical ramper. I feel that I was part of an overly optimistic crew of posters that may have led some to lose more than they could afford.
I hope I may help some avoid the same pitfall here. Wait until they get some runs on the board, better buying at 50% more than risking a lot.
