I am definitely no expert but in my experience, from mid dec to mid Feb, people (inc brokers, company officers and relevant contractors) are on holiday and spending cash on xmas/holiday etc rather than shares. So there is a lack of retail investor capital, a lack of company officers on deck pumping out newsflow, and a lack of brokers promoting the stock.

Just my thoughts. Anyone can correct me if wrong on this
