Mota-Engil is a Portuguese company listed on the Portuguese stock exchange. Mota-Engil has operations throughout Africa, Europe and Latin America and have operated throughout the African continent for over 70 years.

Mota-Engil currently has a major civil construction project in Cameroon and is operating numerous major infrastructure and mining projects throughout Africa. Current or recently completed projects by Mota-Engil that are relevant to the Mini Martap project include:

• Vale Moatize Coal Mine - Mozambique o Construction and contract mining services to the Moatize Coal Mine.

• Anglo Gold Ashanti Siguiri Gold Mine – Republic of Guinea o Mining contractor for the multimillion ounce Siguiri Gold Mine.


• Hwange Colliery Zimbabwe o Mining and haulage/transportation contractor • The recent rehabilitation and upgrade of 575km of rail line in Mozambique.

• Constructed the first 202km section of new rail linking Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi.

In addition to the mining and rail related construction and contracts, Mota-Engil has many other contracts in Africa across various disciplines, including road construction, airport construction and upgrades, hotel, office and sporting stadium construction as well as major waste management contracts."

That is all in the October 30th ASX release from Canyon and the quality of partner and that partner's client's should give pause for thought. Mota Engil have a reputation to uphold and have chosen to gladly associate with this project. That might give some a clue.
