    The resource itself is THE central value but I agree with your statement above.

    Funding and infrastructure are incredibly important. That is one of the reasons that I keep highlighting the quotes from the October ASX announcement.

    Mota-Engil has the ability to assist Canyon in arranging funding for the rail infrastructure solution.

    So Canyon have signed up a major partner who is not only very familiar with Africa. mining, infrastructure such as rail but has ongoing projects in Cameroon and that partner may be instrumental in arranging funding. While not disputing that many countries in Africa have historically had their problems, there has IMO been a major turn around in the past few years.

    Perhaps because of China's push into exploiting Africa and it's resources, the west via institutions such as the IMF are working very hard to push back and open up Africa to development. Simultaneously there has been diligent push back on internal corruption as well.

    PS Any piece of research done by an NGO has to be taken in context. Especially when the article is 2 or 3 years old and based on data that is even older when the ground rules are changing rapidly.
