I've done my own snooping and come up with better figures. (Though not dramatically so)
Costs in Cameroon will be less than here in Oz. Some bauxite will likely stay in Cameroon for their smelter as well. They currently ship it in from Guinea.
I'm looking at a net profit, post tax, AISC etc of $20 to $25 per tonne.
Keep in mind Canyon will become an anchor tenant for a rail line and a port. They will also get discounts for bulk and even if starting out at 10 million tonnes per annum will strike a good deal. Of course I believe they will ultimately ship more. The resource is going to grow and likely fast. They only have to drill down 10 metres plus and they have a good data set to establish where to point the drill.
