re: Ann: High-Grade Gold at Frenchman's R...
Hey Bounce, always open for discussion on opposing views. I am actually looking to get into some really beaten down gold producers next financial year. I also took a hit on MML and have kept most of my powder dry specifically for these kind of scenario. A few more goldies come to mind and getting prepared where other are leaving with much pain emotionally. In fact like most I suspect are keeping a close eye on POG and I was waiting for the fall back to test the recent low. It will either slice through the support or bounce. This will be a good test for the bulls to filter out the weaker goldies from the strong ie lower cost producers.
I missed all the divvy plays in the defensive sectors and have been on this bearish view all of last year. Sold out and kept in fix deposit except some goldies. Not interested in anything at the moment except good quality gold producers.
Yes ORS is a risky play but I was aware of this a long time ago and I am prepared to keep buying. That doesn't mean I bet the house on it, maybe the garage!
However this is a good time for those looking to get gold exposure on a longer time frame to start searching now. They are all bargain basement price. Some would say nothing falls forever. Fortune favour the smart brave.
Good luck to your other investments, I don't know the ones you mention. I have been looking at SLR for a long time now and am very hesitant with the total cost so high. I prefer NST which I have held and sold and of course RRL. I still reckon for a multi bagger ORS provides one of the best opportunities and this is where we disagree. I respect that.
