my 1st look at this exploration prospect:
1. AMG own 80% of the ground
2. from this drill hole, its around 470 metres to the tenement boundary with Newcrest or 450 metres from where the mineralisation starts
3. based on the image, the AMG deposit could be 1km long x 250m wide average
4. times 150 metres thick x 2.5 density = 100 million tonnes
5. times 1.5% copper equivalent or 2.4g/t equivalent is worth US$9 billion in-ground
6. times today's grades = US$7.5 billion in-ground value
7. at 75 cent exchange rate, 5% takeover value and 80% ownership is worth AUD$400M to $500M
8. being optimistic
9. Newcrest have drilled a bunch of holes but announced no results
10. interesting drill hole today; worth a punt, imo
