thanks @dwb15, i'm sure the rail improvement will help.
there are several known rutile/tio2 deposits in malawi, so in that respect svm can learn from what they have done, or are planning to do. it also gives investors something to look at and draw their own conclusions about what is possible.
if the rutile was in sands it would be easier to mine (maybe), so being in a soft saprolite could create problems - for example removing the clay/saprolite for one. clay has killed many mineral sands mines - the $2b beenup project in wa run by bhp comes to mind.
i don't want to be a wet blanket, but there are hurdles that need to be jumped before i jump in as a share holder.
