I have a post grads in geoscience. I don't think you can tell anything conclusive from the pics apart from what they have described. You would have to get a hand lens on the core just to be sure that's chalcopyrite. Having said that given it's above the target conductor it is encouraging.
So what we have is ostensibly is chalcopyrite above a really strong conductor. Given all the other assayed resources around it looks more good than bad. First step is wait for the assays.
