BHP pumps out about 120 milion tonnes a year from the pilbra (maybe a bit more now but not to much more) They turned a 1/2 year iron ore ebit of just over 2 billion just gone. So 4 billion plus change is on the money.
Need to remember but, BHP has the railroad, locomotives, mining fleet,processing facilities and port in place.
That aint cheap.
Still there should be a bit of coin left over for us
