Two more German Hospitals adopt LORENZO


Sydney - Wednesday 28 January, 2009 – IBA Health Group Limited (ASX: IBA), today announced that German hospital group, Krankenhaus Buchholz and Winsen, is set to become its latest iSOFT customer for LORENZO.

The project is in two phases and will culminate in the roll-out of LORENZO Clinicals at two hospitals at Buchholz and Winsen, south of Hamburg, which together provide 633 beds A customer since 1994, Krankenhaus Buchholz and Winsen uses a range of iSOFT management and clinical applications, including ClinicCentre, LabCentre and BusinessCentre. iSOFT will also install its new iCS portal, eFA services and electronic patient record (EPR).

With iCS (iSOFT Collaboration Suite), Krankenhaus Buchholz and Winsen provides GPs access to hospital patient records using a standard web-browser. eFA, created as an electronic case record for sharing of patient data for integrated care purposes, has the potential to become the national standard in Germany. The applications are based on LORENZO technologies and provide a Microsoft .Net
technology layer to underpin further developments in service oriented architecture (SOA).

Krankenhaus Buchholz and Winsen will act as an iSOFT reference site in the region to demonstrate continuous developments in integrated care.
