Yes, retail investors don't have to stump up the cash until well after the offer closes for the instos. I'm very wary about raising capital through SPP's , been burnt decades ago when you had to post off cheques to arrive at the register generally by COB on a Friday. Now you can wait till the last minute to compare the share price and see if it's worth participating. For most of the recent market capital raisings through an SPP it hasn't.
