It now transpires that Hanlong have had to borrow the US$200mil.

The Board of Directors in my opinion have not done exsisiting shareholders any good with this deal. We have just said goodbye to US$38.5mil, on top of that we are going to pay Fisher and Co a hefty bonus for their good work, when it finally completes.

Why did they not impose some conditions on Hanlong, they should have asked the question at the very start do you have the funds available. Why did they not impose a penalty clause for late completion.

Without knowing all the facts this deal stinks of desperation, perhaps thats what I could smell all along.

On the bright side its looking good that the mine will be built, but until its confirmed anything could happen.
