    I'd assume to the directors would buy to accumulate holding in the company that they are currently steering , and to get rid of the 249D yokels before they increase shareholder value.
    Also to instil confidence in the share and ensure shareholder future value prospects look positive.
    To show a sign of solidarity and confidence in their operation.
    Another reason is that they would show that they are confident that the share-price is undervalued and will go up on the back of their efforts.
    All pretty good reasons for directors to buy if you ask me, but then that is my opinion only. Skin in the game is what I would expect of those in charge.
