))for those suggesting that the loan was for the share purchase - you are on the wrong track. Did you see the purchaser - a superannuation fund. Usually superfunds have sufficient monies to purchase shares. In the event that is doesn't then it may borrow for a maximum of seven days to cover the settlement - so when did the transaction settle - oh geez July 2018. so IMO loan has nothing to do with the share purchase so @mondrian DYOR rather than jump on someones bandwagon like you usually like to do notwithstanding that the comments may have been ill-informed.
