had a read of this document "Market Update - Activities", some personal notes below.
1 Page 2 , they pretend to compete in the "recreational water market", well , that means that they are trying to compete with "Zodiac" and so many existing alternatives. No real Innovation here.
2. Ozone is bot a cost effective alternative to chlorine. The best option is a "salt chlorinator" which utilizes electrolysis to convert normal salt into chrlorine. if you read the list of advantages of their proposal, and compare it to a salt chlorination you will find something interesting. No real Innovation here.
3. "Greater underwater clarity;" nominated as a competitive advantage.... nor real if we talk about leaves, dust, organic residues, etc.
4.from page 2 "Anotherconsideration to improving ozone utilization is that oxidizing radicals are relatively benign at the lower levelsbut legislation in most countries does not allow for their release into the atmosphere." ... which means that this is "good but a little bit bad" or "bad,, but not so bad " for you and the world... lets be honest, chlorine does the same for a fraction of the price, you do not have to pay for maintenance and you can buy it from the petrol station or 7 eleven
5. page 2 " the objective to deliver a turnkey and easy to install retro-fitpackage" ... research in google "cell replacement ozone generator"
6. Just curious how they can concentrate finding a solution for tuberculosis and trying to keep your swimming pool "clean" at the same time... next stage, kill odors in your car.
