Too late for that, I already know of at least two companies looking to withdraw plans for facilities in Malaysia but are waiting on the outcome of how this scenario plays out. Both were attracted to the costs of Malaysia over Singapore but now the sovereign risk issue is raising its ugly head again and that Malaysia values foreign influenced NGO's over business development. Singapore might have higher costs but it is a good place to do business.
Malaysian PM needs to step up to the plate here.
