Hi Eshmun,
I guess I'm an old hand as you will see from my posting history.
Without going back over the announcements ....
There was a large anomaly located east of Treasure Island, it was about 42 Klms
from the St Ives mine to the NNW and then from St Ives another 42Klms to the
Golden Mile. This was thought to be very significant at the time.
The anomaly produced Tellurides.
Drilling did take place 1 hole at depth and it eventually made contact with the
footwall at 2 to 3 grams / t.
The drill was angled with the notion that the anomaly plunged to the west toward
Treasure Island but the opposite turned out to be true with the plunge going to the
east as does St Ives.
One of the first things that Shandong did was to secure all of the rest of the lake
package to the East.
Other shallower drills were done but mysteriously (in my opinion) were washed away
in a weather event.
I'm very much looking forward to the results of the gravity data analysis.
Btw there is a mill about 13 Klms away to the ESE but it had environmental issues
at that time.
This is all from memory .....Juju
