i forgot which report i read, but it did mention that XPD currently hole 15% of market share for soccer boots in China. Just a little behind Nike and Adidas
A country of 1.3 billion people and 50 millions of those play soccer.
15% market share translates to around 7.5 million pair of soccer boots.
If you look at their past revenue, yes. It does looks like they sold 5 millions pair of shoes last year.
Not to mention, their distributor was happy to pay 21 cents per share in May 2016.
Overall the distributors bought up 35 million shares.
These distributors will want to see dividend and a high share price as well.
Management can sheet on ordinary investors like you and me, but they can’t sheet on their distributors. Cause if they do, who is going to distribute their products?
