am sure you are correct... everything tells me they would have stumped a heap for up front costs..... but then again did they????
at 1M for half year on 27M in sales tells me the contracts are at very low margins... hope we dont become a high turnover low margin business...
My point here is that why wasnt there an explanation or some words around the result... everything in my gut tells me that we are in for a cracking secobd half!!! i cant for the life of me figure out why they just cant be more clear... i dont expect detailed margins, but just a simple comment as to why the profit was so low...
if you assume overheads are around the 10% mark of turnover margins on their work is only around 13%... that is tight... i hope the company doesnt start adding layers of management like all the other mining services companies...
please please please add some words around the numbers- take out the guess work and uncertainty....
another point, no point bragging about revenue and new projects without telling the market what it actually means in terms of earnings....come on boys, fantastic job but time to become a big hitter and give some earnings guidance.. after all - this is a public co...
i still hold as expect bigger things to come...
also, what has happened to the claim for costs on the cma contract??? on the 27 of feb the co update states it is trying to recover costs - is the recovery in the H1 numbers... if so how much?? this eill put another perspective on the h1 costs...
bid offer now back to 6.5 - 7.0 ... mmm
at least Tempo makes for a fantastic takeover target for someone.. even if you double the offer to shareholders ot is still cheap with the clients and work at hand...
keep the faith and good luck.... Tempo- we just need better announcements and you will be Top of the class!!!! I think we are the only company growing in a bad market... the GM Daniel to me has balls of steel - hats off to Dan the man... i one day hope to be sharing a bucket of KFC... I see in the report he is now Exec GM... well done boy... well deserved...
over and out...
