Karl keeps using "proven" to describe the scaling process. Funny that in the ten years I've held CDM and been reading and listening to his reports, I don't recall him supplying any comparative statistical evidence that scaling is superior to any other method. Happy to be proved wrong on this. Seems to me we are just supposed to take Karl's word for it. I've said before that I have my doubts. As an aside, with regard to fund manager reports, I was just listening to an interview with Marcus Padley on Livewire. He was making the point that the main aim of these reports is to convince the shareholder that the future is rosy so they won't want to sell their shares.
As far as selling out of a SMSF in pension phase and buying it in your own name, this would only be an advantage dividend wise if your marginal tax rate is less than the company tax rate. And then you have to also consider that as an individual owner you could also be subject to CGT if you eventually sell them.
