i have owned FWD for 4 years, and received about $1 a year if grossed up dividends in that time. i originally paid $6 and then bought some more at $3.6 last year. i love the company but have recently chipped down at $8.25 just to pay down the margin loan.
the report was encouraging in terms of the caravan business turning around, so hopefully it will be able to sustain its dividend, but a lot depends on the renegotiation with woodside. if they were to sign on for a few more years it would support the dividend and i could see $10 being reached again.
in summary i believe FWD is a quite achiever and one of my faves at the right price.
