NHC (and other coal stocks) has dipped on low volume probably due to supposedly negative general news in copyright link about China coal market, I.e. China Government will not reinstate coal production day limits after their winter if coal prices drop too low. They are trying to support viable mines and cut oversupply.
Not mentioned was they are trying to cut out pollution due to low grade coal.
Why is this negative for NHC who should report good results early next week (preannounced a few weeks ago).
They even mentioned the higher coal price has enabled them to run New Acland for longer (how long?) while they wait for approval of the expansion.
Some rumours that NHC are a bidder for the remainder of Bengalla from WES. Is this good/bad for NHC sp in the short term, depends on how much and how they pay, I suppose?
I just topped up at ~161c.
