I have been in plenty of dogs... which makes seeing them easier than those who always get it right. My worst loss: XPE. $50k dusted after being up $200k. How did it happen? Easy. I broke my rules; didn't trust my research/gut; got caught up in the hype; was greedy. One of these is bad enough. All mixed together resulted in a $250k difference. Ouch!

As such I do not profess to be a guru. But the biggest mistakes result in the best, although expensive, lessons.

But you do misquote me. I said "after AVL ticks more boxes". The caveat being ticks more boxes. AVL did not/have not ticked more boxes. The PFS is terrible and imo, will not get funded.

Those who know my investment style will know I follow the mining life cycle. I have posted this chart many times.m Basically, the most money can be made up to the PFS (imo peak speculation). Then afterwards a 50% decline. If the mine makes it to production then maybe a 400% climb up to production. This will be higher than peak speculation but not the most money which can be made.

If you look at what AJM/PLS achieved by the time of their peak speculation and then compare to AVL; then you will see AVL did not tick the boxes. Similar applies to AEE...

The other thing I like to do is look at charts: 20/50/200 day MA plus MFI plus MACD. The sell signal based on these alone was end of July 2018; ironically at the time ASEAN was increasing. The SP has never recovered from this time. High volume too; relatively.
