Interesting, the bureau of Mines wont issue them an import licence?

" notwithstanding that the Haitian companies hold the necessary permits to commence drilling the companies have been unable to secure confirmation or approval from Bureau des Mines et de L’Energie (BME) to import a suitable drill rig to do so."

I wonder if they are still of that same opinion?

The Impairment of goodwill for $317,312 to acquire 70% of the issued capital of Delta Societe Miniere SA and Ayiti Gold Company SA which own the Morna Bossa and Grand Bois gold projects. The Group was of the opinion that this investment will provide it with both a near term producing gold opportunity and a longer-term position in the developing Haiti mining industry.
