Thanks Midnight.
WE have been believers in the size of this find, but now it's starting to dawn on me the implications of some of the findings that are being reported by the company. They can't be fitted neatly into any box and hence the problems of extraction.
I would appreciated your view on my thoughts which may be a little bizzare but perhaps consistent with my conclusion.
1.now finding tin etc.etc.These minerals seems to be distributed throughout the "grabbo".The usual geological models we have are of progressing cooling and precipitation depending on cooling rates, relative densities etc which is why we have primarily a gold deposit or a tin deposit which are mined as such, but here we have a virtual Aladdin's cave of valuable minerals. This suggests an amorphous mass with rapid cooling viz no time for layered precipitation etc.....that is,as has been suggested previously,an asteroid, and a very ancient one at that, even prior to the age of the dinosaurs, so the only distribution from the grabbo has been due to weathering.
Hence applying the lens of our usual geological models, this find will confound and hence all the disbelievers.
2.when you look at the leaching studies,it is interesting that the Au tenor increases ,Pd and Pt tenors decrease.I suspect that this ore is so rich that the ion exchange resins are being saturated and that time and affinity dynamics alter the tenors and require all the skills of the company's consultants....but this find is looking more and more profitable all the time-which is why some want to mine asteroids.
I am suprised that our naysayers have not made the most of this leaching variation, however it is strong evidence that the company reports what it finds and ultimately all the pieces of the jig-saw will be put together.
...all in the good name of shareholder wealth!
