Crap results. Complete crap!

US7.5c per share dividend — roughly AU9.5c — translates to $au40 return on $10,000 holding. You'd get a better return lending your $10,000 to a beggar in the street.

In return for such a disastrous ROI at a time when gold is on a bounder and the AU/US exchange rate is steady and favourable, I expected Newcrest to have made a significant reduction of their debt level. But what was it? 4% reduction!

Absolutely pathetic.
