It could be any number of things - some people play looking years into the future, and the volume would indicate it was more than a random punt. However, the same thing has been said on other stocks (ARV comes to mind) that experienced random days where 40M+ shares were wiped in the space of hours, and then literally nothing else has happened since - no announcements, no price movement from 0.001. Who knows really.
