there seem to be many opening up & towards more targeted markets, be it wood fired pizza, or other gourmet which one in particular as an example is Pizza Capers that offers such gourmet type of menu.

one day I think I would like to try with a few folk a few different orders form a few different gourmet menu's to get a real taste test going yet everyone is different so would be curious about the results.

with the value range I seriously think it may have something to do with the speed at which they make these value range pizza's, which kinda like the pizza maker under pressure to get the order out but without concentrating or even caring fully to how much sauce, cheese, or ingredients goes on to which part of the pizza, so who is to blame? the manager for telling the staff to just get them out or the young staff whom may be not really well paid and only wants to go home and get the day done so cares not about each pizza vs volume of pizza done.

whatever the scenario, staff get paid to make the orders so why not just make them right in the first place?
imo, if they cost another $1.00 (which they actually used to do $5.95 or $6.00) yet the same result was happening back then too as I even recall back then saying, enough and I gave it a miss for a few years, so charging more for what the same practice (again imo) is not the answer, or at least for me
