I will give you an apology, although some of your comments were a little over the top at times and in stark contrast to when you were a holder.
Your comments actually made me re examine the company over the weekend, after which I decided to sell out at the same price I bought in last year - 0.7c. Order filled yesterday - excellent timing.
- the cash burn seemed slightly too much
- there isnt too much money left from the last CR by my reckoning.
- Googling brings up a culture of mining antipathy amongst the locals both in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. You would think being so poor the country would advance this as quickly as possible, but these nig nog countries have a habit of dragging things out. Just look at AVQ in the Solomon Islands, they have a 500 million budget deficit, and they cannot get on with delivering mining permits to AVQ and getting some royalties happening.. This has been going on for years for a relatively easy low AISC DSO nickel project. Never underestimate the infleunce of landowners in 3rd world countries.
Whislt the directors of DDD should be applauded for the relatively modest salaries they draw, they get brickbats for the lack of disclosure about everything. For eg, here (
30603763) a prospective new holder c@pitali$t is asking for the CPC engineeering study and feasibility docs. I'd like to read them too , yet the Company doesnt make them available on their website. We pay for the website, yet they fail to utilise it properly. In fact there have been no updates to the investor page since Aug 2017. Pathetic.
I tried to find out more about the WA tenement and DDDs intentions, but not much info there either. It is too difficult to get a handle on this company. I dont like companies that fail to be transparent, and also sub 1c stocks that are approaching 1 billion shares which reeks of endless CRs and not much progress.
The Haiti project looks like a good low cost project, and should be a good money spinner if it gets going. I'll be back in if that happens, but for now there is too much risk for me.
Unfortunately experience tells me the SP will drift back to 0.4-0.5c so factor that into your calculations.
Good luck to all holders.
PS you should always value downrampers because they make you question your own beliefs, and re test them. If their accusations have no merit, then no skin off your back if you are a confident investor, right?
