This was the last comment in the quarterly. Supposed to have had a mediation process finalised by 9th May but we've heard nothing further since. The company, if respecting their shareholders, should have given an update on this process.
The Yilka native title claim over the Cosmo Newberry project was finally determined by Justice McKerracher on 27 September 2017 at a ceremonial sitting of the Federal Court of Australia at the Cosmo Newberry Aboriginal community. The common law holders (Yilka & Sullivan Edwards) recognized in the native title determination were given until 27 March 2018 to nominate a PBC and resolve the management & operation of the PBC. This was not settled, and a mediation process was set in place by the Federal Court to finalize the matter. The mediation process was to be completed by 15 April 2018 but has not being finalized with the judge extending the process until the 9 May 2018. 3D Resources understands that once the PBC has been finalized this then will allow an access agreement to be negotiated and executed between the PBC and 3D Resources in a reasonable short period of time and allow 3D Resources to finally commence exploration on the project. Whilst the final mediation is being carried out and the PBC is being set up, 3D Resources is finalizing its position and comments on the draft access agreement and preparing the legal requirements to complete and execute the access agreement a quickly as possible, to be ready to carry out an extensive exploration program on the Cosmo Newberry project. During the quarter the Company contracted a senior geologist to finalize the thorough compilation and review of the previous data sets and reconnaissance program results commenced last quarter and prepare a proposed detailed exploration program to progress the project.
