Agreed. For anyone who has employed these kinds of services into a business workflow, you will know that while cost may be a factor, it is well overridden by usability and efficiency, ie. how well the service fits into the existing workflow or solves the problem. My feel is that Nearmap has presented an elegant solution and has been a "first responder" and as such has a great advantage over anything that comes after it.
