What if the MACD makes a lower high and there is bearish divergence? DMI may look solid, but check out what happened last rally - failure within the space of a week.
I don't see any real reason to be bullish yet, as the SP is within the downtrend channel yet again. Let the gap fill, then reassess the situation. You are trying to prognosticate a bullish scenario where one does not exist yet!
