What do you mean a 'nice gap' on the charts? The stock has been pummeled on fundamental news. Gaps are irrelevant.
Perhaps there is value here but I favour a test of $3 before any turn around. I would suggest an analogue might be RRL circa 2014-2015 which took a fair while to turn on issues of grade/metallurgy concerns. Until the technical uncertainty is reduced the SBM share price will probably be under pressure.
